AfterCare Program

After Care at Saints Philip and James School offers a variety of activities for students. Activities are supervised by employees of the school, including teachers. Students have the opportunity to change into playclothes, finish homework, have playtime inside or outside depending on the weather, and enjoy a home-packed snack.

Tuition and Fees by School Year

All families must submit a non-refundable $40 registration fee per family per year.


Sibling discount is 10%.

Proof of income is required if you request the sliding fee scale. Child support, disability, unemployment, and social security are considered income. Tax forms or W-2 forms are acceptable as proof of income. If you choose not to include proof of income, your fees will be in the $45,001-above range.

 

After Care Procedures:

  1. Our program operates from the first full day of school until the last day of school in June. Hours are from dismissal until 6:00pm. A late fee of $10 per half hour will be charged after 6:00pm.
  2. If school is closed for the day, there will be NO After Care program.
  3. If you choose to have your child participate in after school activities, notify the staff in writing. We need an authorized person to sign the child out (coach or parent of teammate) by 6:00pm.
  4. Payment may be made in full or monthly by check, money order, or cash.
  5. There will be no refunds for any reason after June 1.
  6. School rules as stated in the SSPJ Student/Parent Handbook will apply to our After Care Program, including the Acceptible Use of Technology Agreement.
  7. Children will only be released to a parent or one of the emergency names on the emergency form. A note or phone call is required for any changes.
  8. A scheduled homework period with teachers will be provided. It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that all homework is completed.
  9. You are responsible for full tuition payment regardles of illness, vacation, or differences in school calendars.
  10. You are responsible to provide a daily snack and change of clothes for your child (2 snacks for early dismissal days).
  11. After Care phone number is available on your contract.
  12. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) give SSPJ After Care permission to contact the persons listed on the Student Emergency Information form in an emergency situation when Parent/Guardian is not available. In Parent(s)/Guardian(s) absence, the people listed are authorized to make decisions concerning child/ren. After Care requires a note or phone call if someone different is coming to pick up child/ren. Any court documents regarding custody or visitation arrangements should be presented to After Care facilitators. While child/ren is/are in After Care, should an emergency occur, every effort will be made to contact the Parent(s)/Guardian(s). If all efforts fail, Parent(s)/Guardian(s) consent to any medical treatment deemed necessary by competent medical clinicians to save the life or preserve the health of the child/ren.

2012-13 "Drop In" Fees

  • $20 per day for a regular dismissal day (to be paid at time of pick-up)
  • $40 per day for early dismissal days (to be paid at time of pick-up)
  • You should be pre-registered and have submitted your $40 registration fee to utilize the drop-in service.
